PairGears manufactures custom helical gears for wind power equipment and power transmission systems based on customer drawings, samples, and technical requirements. Helical gears are designed for applications requiring high load capacity and smooth, relatively quiet transmission compared with spur gears.


The gear geometry can be customized according to the transmission design, including module, pressure angle, helix angle, dimensions, material, heat treatment, and precision requirements. For wind power applications, the gear design should also account for the axial thrust generated by the helical tooth form.


PairGears supports helical gear manufacturing through forging or bar stock preparation, rough turning, gear hobbing, heat treatment, fine turning, gear grinding, and inspection. The manufacturing process is selected according to the gear design, accuracy requirements, and application conditions.
