Every shipment is quality-released, but not every feature is measured on every part.
PairGears applies in-process controls and final inspection before goods are released for delivery. The correct inspection level depends on risk: designated critical characteristics or visual conditions may require 100% checking, while stable dimensions may be controlled through first-article inspection, in-process checks, and an agreed sampling plan.
If your contract requires 100% inspection of a specific characteristic, write that requirement on the drawing or purchase order rather than relying on the general phrase “test all goods.”
What may be checked before shipment
Geometry and fit
Critical diameters, runout, tooth thickness, backlash-related dimensions, and drawing tolerances.
Gear accuracy
Tooth profile, lead, pitch, and related gear measurements when the specification calls for them.
Material and condition
Hardness, metallography or case depth where required, plus surface condition, marking, packing, and quantity.
